We are passionate about healthy living at Bliss.
Having difficulty finding healthy whole food gluten free snacks, Shari, the founder, started a product line that her children could eat with their food sensitivities.
After two years of direct selling at local markets in London Ontario, we started to wholesale our best selling products local health food stores and coffee shops.
We are now selling through stores in the Guelph and Kitchener, Cambridge, Waterloo areas as well as in Stratford and Woodstock. Soon we will also be available through stores in the GTA.
Our products are also available direct to the consumer in S/W Ontario Canada by purchasing online here through our website.
The standard gluten free diet is often filled with starches, fillers, refined sugars and gums. You won't find any of that in our treats!
Our products are not only Paleo, but also Specific Carb Diet friendly (SCD).

Treats made with whole food ingredients that are about more than just good taste!
'Real' food hand crafted from the finest of ingredients. Made with virgin organic coconut oil, almond flour, pumpkin and sunflower seeds, raisins and sulphite free coconut.
You will not find any of the traditional 'gluten free' filler ingredients in our products. We do NOT use flours, grains, starches, gums or fillers, but follow a more Specific Carb diet approach.
Although our products are Paleo diet friendly, we are not trying to cater to any specific diets. Our ingredients speak for themselves.
Sustainability is of paramount importance to us here at BLISS so each of our ingredients is chosen with care. It is our mission to provide food products that are made from the 'cleanest ' ingredients available.
We support fair and direct trade companies. Our packaging is made from true cellophane, not plastic!
Most of our ingredients are certified organic at this time and we will continue to search out the best sources ongoing.
We believe businesses need to be transparent with their customers so you will find information shared from us about why we do NOT use xanthum gums, yeast, dairy, soy, refined sugars, GMOs, corn and a few other items.
Our products are nutrient dense since we use whole food ingredients.
Organic Coconut oil is the only oil we use in our products. To call coconut oil, "virgin" does not apply with this oil. however most manufacturers of coconut oil still put it on their labels.
Taking the Extra Steps
In order to make the seeds easier to digest, we soak the sunflower and pumpkin seeds in distilled water for a few hours, then slow roast them in the oven to dry. Only then do we put them into our Honey Almond Brunch Bites!
Oh and we do not use a microwave oven ever!
No Refined Sugars
Raw honey is used for most of our products. At times we have also used maple syrup and raw coconut nectar.
Gluten Free Certification
We do not use any gluten in our products- we are not certified gluten free as yet but hope to be in the near future.
We do strongly advocate for zero gluten, and think the 10ppm level for gluten free declaration in Canada is still too high.
"Gluten free' really 'should' mean NO gluten, not 10 or 20 ppm.

We Eat This Way at Home
Since the family behind BLISS is amoungst the most sensitive group of people needing to eat not only gluten free but also dairy free, these products have been put through rigorous testing in a real life environment. One fingerprint of wheat flour is enough to trigger a reaction that is multi-system and lasts for days or even weeks. We call it being 'glutenized'. For those who need to eat gluten free for medical reasons, this is a serious matter. The founder of Bliss knows first hand what it is like to live a 'gluten free' life, and has raised two children, one with serious health issues that required living a life of not only eating a gf/cf diet, but also one free of corn, soy, grains, sugar and often nightshades and more.
Nutrition does not have to be compromised for taste. Our motto is "more than just good taste"!
